The National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo is pleased to present Hilma af Klint (tentative title) from March 4 to June 15, 2025. This will be the first major retrospective in Asia of Hilma af Klint (1862–1944), a pioneer of abstract painting. The painter from Sweden has been reevaluated in recent years as a creator of abstract paintings that preceded her contemporaries, such as Wassily Kandinsky and Piet Mondrian. For many years, her oeuvre of more than 1,000 works was known only to a very few people. As late as in the 1980s, several exhibitions began to introduce her works, and by the turn of the 21st century, her presence became international all at once. Her 2018 retrospective at the Guggenheim Museum in New York, the U.S., attracted 600,000 visitors, the largest attendance in the museum’s history. Including The Ten Largest (1907), a set of ten paintings over three meters high, all 140 works in this exhibition will travel to Japan for the first time. Centering on her representative accomplishment, The Paintings for the Temple, the exhibition will provide an overview of af Klint’s career, while introducing materials left by the artist and diverse sources of her inspiration, including the spiritualism and the women’s movements of her time.

Thank you Trip.com for letting me grab the ticket near the sunset without adding an outrageous price. I grabbed the ticket at 15:20. It was almost 4 o&#39;clock to go upstairs to store the bag to make up and makeup. It was two hours there and I could wait until dusk. It was worth the fare. I recommend everyone to buy it here!

Nice kid experience and it was fun! The transport to the venue also very convenient. One drawback is the queuing time almost 1 hour per game if it is a Japan public holiday.

I visited Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo &ndash; The Making of Harry Potter, and it was an absolutely magical experience! From the moment you step in, you&rsquo;re transported into the world of Hogwarts. The sets, like the Great Hall, Dumbledore&rsquo;s office, and Platform 9&frac34;, are recreated with stunning detail. Interactive elements, such as potion-making and broomstick flying, add so much fun and immersion. The costumes and props from the films were a highlight &ndash; it felt like walking onto the movie set! The staff were incredibly friendly, and the butterbeer at the caf&eacute; was a perfect touch. Highly recommend to all Harry Potter fans and anyone who loves a bit of magic!

It is worthy of being the highest building in Tokyo. The weather was very good when we went there. We waited in line for 10 minutes downstairs before going upstairs. From upstairs, we could see Mount Fuji in the distance and Tokyo Bay nearby sparkling in the sunlight.
