The vibrant streets of Yaowarat Road in Bangkok’s #Chinatown# turn into a sea of ​​swing lovers! In September 2024, Shanghai Mansion’s annual carnival dance party will begin again! Passionate art curators The Hop Bangkok will host a red carpet extravaganza “Yaowarat Swing” Runway Edition to make the charming city of Bangkok shine even more. 
The Hop Bangkok will present wonderful performances for dancers and music lovers from 17 countries, and let everyone be fascinated by Chinatown! The David Hermlin Trio, a retro band from Berlin, will perform on Yaowarat Road, making the night lively. This legendary band came out of a time machine from the 1930s New York big band era. This event is a collaboration between the Tourism Authority of Thailand and Shanghai Mansion Hotel, and the charming swing dance will not only attract local guests, but also guests from all over the world!

We decided to go to the Bangkok Zoo on a whim in the morning, and found that only Ctrip could book tickets for the day. Other platforms required reservations a day in advance. Fortunately, we booked a package that included a private car. Taking a taxi in Bangkok is really troublesome. The zoo is quite far and there may not be anyone willing to pick us up. This also made me have a deeper understanding of this when I took a taxi to the Grand Palace the next day. Because of the private car, we didn&rsquo;t have to worry about going back and forth, and the private car driver could also help us get tickets and drive us directly to see animals in the safari park. Later, when we went to the Marine Zoo, he was also waiting for us outside. We checked in various small animals at the Marine Zoo, including orangutans. We finished our tour around 5 pm and found him directly in the parking lot. Fortunately, he picked us up, otherwise we would be exhausted when we returned to the hotel~

It is one of very few places in Bangkok when one can cool down and hide from tropical heat (due to wind). Also, it is one of very few almost free attractions (you just pay up to 1 USD and can have very long ride). It is also a bit of fun for Europeans, Australians, Americans - simply those who do not have such atractions at home. Though Asian from neighbouring countries would possibly do not consider it as attraction.It is not super luxurious neither provide additional amenities - it is simple boat operating as public transport (I would consider it as water bus). It is also a perfect way to avoid traffic jams.

Siam Ocean World is truly worth a visit! From the BTS Siam station, you can walk directly into Siam Paragon and follow the signs. It&#39;s incredibly convenient.

The flow of visitors to the exhibition area is seamless, eliminating the need for backtracking. My favorite part was the 25-meter underwater tunnel. Green sea turtles swam leisurely overhead, and rays flew by like paragliders &ndash; a truly soothing experience. The penguins in the area were bouncing around, and one always seemed to enjoy diving &ndash; so adorable.

There weren&#39;t many people there in the morning, so taking photos was a great experience. After our visit, we had lunch in the mall. Overall, it was a very relaxing experience; it was a great way to spend two or three hours just relaxing.

And unlike what I expected, their songs and dances were really rich in variety, with grand momentum, Chinese style, sexy leather pants style, melodramatic plot, Thai and Korean traditional style, etc.
