[Fourth visit to Maplewood Dew🍃 It's so quiet that I want to settle down! 】
After many years, I came to Fontainebleau again, and it is still so cool and quiet ~ The lake is as clear as a sapphire, and my heart is quiet when I see it✨
The palace is not big and far from the city, most tourists have gone to Versailles, so there are never many people here. Walking in the forest in the afternoon, the fruit of dogwood hangs all over the tree, from time to time you hear a "pop" sound falling to the ground, stepping crushed and will seep dark red juice, very picturesque ~
Sitting under a tree having a picnic, swans swimming leisurely with the cruise ship, and bold wild ducks walking up to me, wanting to peck open the pack for snacks, this feeling of being close to nature is really healing🦆
Mr. Zhu Ziqing translated the name "Fontaine White Dew" perfectly! Hearing the name, I think of the colorful picture of autumn, more than "Emerald" and "Champs Elysees" ~ The French name means "beautiful spring water", so you can see streams and fountains everywhere, the water is so clear that it reflects the sky ☀️
The most precious thing in Paris is often these landscapes that do not cost money and cannot be bought
📝Tips:
• Take the R train from Lyon Station, just swipe Navigo (you used to have to buy tickets specifically)
• Towards Montereau, get off at Fontainebleau-Avon in less than an hour
• Signed guides to arrive by bus, palace requires tickets, gardens free
A little far and awkward, but definitely worth it! 🥰
