Forget what you know about zombies… Far from the world of infectious undead creatures in movies and popular culture, the exhibition takes you to Haiti in pursuit of a real myth. 
While the word “zombie” (nzambi) originates in Africa and refers to the spirit or ghost of the dead, its meaning changed significantly as it crossed the Atlantic during the slave trade, with the fusion of African, Caribbean and Catholic traditional beliefs. In Haiti, the image of the zombie was formed on the margins of voodoo culture, through the practices of its secret societies – especially the Bijango Society – whose judicial role gave it zombified powers. Tried and convicted, the zombie is actually a criminal deprived of his freedom, enslaved and held in a comatose state by his master (bokor). 
Between fact and fiction, the exhibition reveals the reality behind the fear of this iconic “undead creature”. The exhibition explores the construction of myth in the Western collective imagination, from the 1697 novel by French author Pierre Corneille y Blaisebois to George A. Romero’s legendary film Night of the Living Dead.

Notre Dame is worth it. It is one of the most famous attractions in Paris and a must visit attraction. It was rainy today and the queue was long. Very crowded. Enter the interior of Notre Dame, deeply attracted by the exquisite religious works of the interior decoration, statues, murals, tapestries and so on. Taking a lot of photos and reading a lot of religious knowledge. Worth a visit.

Versailles is one of France&#39;s most famous palaces, with its magnificent architecture and exquisite gardens breathtaking. The interior of the palace is decorated with luxurious tapestries and murals that showcase the luxury and power of the French royal family. What impressed me most was the mirror hall, with its spacious spaces and gorgeous mirrors and lamps, as if entering a dream world. The gardens around the palace are vast, with fountains, sculptures and neatly manicured gardens showing the ultimate aesthetic of gardening. I first met the Brownlee Riverbank Museum because the architect Jean Nouvel. Amazed by the clever use of more than 10 architectural skins in a building, I used this building as my case study when studying the skin of architecture at Penn University. Until I really had the opportunity to stand before her, this museum has left a lingering impression in my mind. Even if I live in New York and have seen various museums around the world, she is the most amazing to me! Mimicking nature, special abstract processing glass, Protect exhibits, connect inside and outside, blur the boundaries. Walking indoors feels like being led into pristine jungles and grasslands. The charm of primitive art in Africa, Asia, Oceania and America is magnified and focused. Masts, columns, textiles are abstract and distinct from East and West cultures. Mysterious and lovely. In the evening, the lights and the garden complement each other, adding a little bit of Paris&#39;s night spirit to the gorgeous red main building. You can see the Eiffel Tower in Paris from the roof and the strange side windows of the building. The symbol of Paris is integrated into the exhibition and becomes a part. It seems to symbolize the blending and penetration of culture. The exhibition&#39;s clever integration and projection, walking out of the exhibition, seems to be walking in the long river of history and time thanks to the curators, museums, architects of the carefully presented minority culture, so that I have the opportunity to see and understand the background of my life and growth.
