A round trip to Urumqi is worth the trip, taking about an hour or two. Looking back, I shouldn&#39;t have gone last, but on the first day. The last day can be a bit tiring, while the first day is perfect for freshness. There are so many snacks, it&#39;s hard to eat them all. There are also some unique restaurants with great ambiance. It was okay on a weekday before National Day, avoiding the peak crowds. There was a line for the baked naan, though.
