It was my first time in Changsha, and I chose to go to the Hunan Provincial Museum first. I saw the Mawangdui Han Tomb exhibits that I had only seen on TV before. The tour guide Xiao Xiao was very responsible and patient, and the explanation was very detailed. It was a great experience.

I couldn&#39;t reserve tickets, so I had to buy a boat tour because it comes with a free ticket and a sightseeing bus. If I could have reserved tickets and the sightseeing bus, that would have been enough.

The view from the park is definitely more stunning. Besides the Chairman Mao statue, there are many pomelo trees in the park, and the scenery is also beautiful. The advantage of the boat tour is that you can see the scenery along the river, such as the Du Fu River Pavilion.

There were many volunteers in the park, eleven of them, but they were very orderly and the queues were very quick, which was great.

The transportation to Orange Island was not very good, with traffic jams and limited subway capacity. Eleven of them were so numerous that the line to Qinglian Station stretched outside the station.

If time is tight and the weather is bad, walk from the South Gate to Yuelu Academy and Aiwan Pavilion; the return journey takes about two hours.
If the weather is good and you have more time, enter from the East Gate by sightseeing bus to the mountaintop viewing corridor, then walk down the mountain to visit Chuanshipo Lake, Yuelu Academy, and Aiwan Pavilion.
The sightseeing bus route is flat throughout, making it beautiful even on rainy autumn days.

We spent eight hours there and still couldn&#39;t get enough. The facilities are new, the scenery is beautiful, there aren&#39;t many people, the lines aren&#39;t long, there are shows to watch, and the food is affordable. Hunan TV is right next to it, and when we got out at almost 10 pm, we still had food at Pizza Hut, and it was only 40 yuan per person, plus gifts. I highly recommend planning a full day with your kids to have fun!
