 students, alumni, professors, artists, critics, community members–any artsy people! Come together to support emerging artists & critics in the city.
Founded at Barnard College’s Department of Art History in 2015 as the first undergraduate journal in print devoted to art criticism, JAC strives to promote critical writing and art, connecting students across institutions and international boundaries. While students work to create, review, and edit the works of JAC, we are rooted in a community of arts professionals in NYC.
