The services we offer include a thorough safety check of all parts, adjustments to brakes and gears if needed, inflation of tyres and replacement of inner tubes (if you bring a spare). Additionally, you will receive a detailed report outlining the condition of your bike. No need to book in advance, simply bring your bike to the event between 10am and 1pm, and we will inform you when it is ready for collection. Please note that we do not replace or install new parts, or undertake major repairs. If such services are required, our knowledgeable staff will be happy to recommend local bike shops and provide an estimate of the cost. Join the exciting and enchanting Guided Bike Ride at Darlington Town Hall on December 4, 2023. This delightful event will take cyclists on the Haughton-Skerne Circular Route, covering a distance of 8 miles/13km. Don't be intimidated by the thought of a big hill, as this ride is easier than you might expect. The majority of the route is off-road or on low-traffic roads, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience. Participants will have the opportunity to traverse busy roads using crosswalks, guaranteeing their security throughout the journey. To ensure your comfort and preparedness, please bring along a drink and snacks, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a warm waterproof jacket, as the British late fall weather can be unpredictable. Additionally, gloves are recommended to keep your hands cozy. If you don't own a bike, worry not! We have free loaner bikes available for the duration of the ride. Simply indicate your need for one in the order form. Safety is our top priority, so we strongly recommend wearing a helmet. If you don't have one, don't fret, as we can provide you with a helmet for the duration of the ride. The meeting point for this fantastic adventure is in front of the bike shed at Darlington Town Hall.
