"Golden Voice and Jade Resonance" is a large-scale ritual and music performance in the ritual and music hall of Nishan Holy Land. As we all know, the cultural image of Nishan Holy Land is Confucius. "Mencius: Wan Zhang Xia" once praised Confucius and the amazing achievements of the ritual and music culture he advocated with the words: "The most complete achievement is the golden voice and the jade resonation. The golden voice is the beginning of order; the jade resonation is the end of order. The beginning of order is the work of wisdom; the end of order is the work of saints." Therefore, we use "Golden Voice and Jade Resonance" as the general name of the whole ritual and music performance. Since Confucius' lifelong ideal pursuit was ritual and music, and the outstanding representative of ritual and music is "Shao music". Therefore, in the creation, we take "Shao music" as the main performance content, take "Confucius of the world" and "Confucius' world" as the conception direction, and combine Chinese classical art forms such as poetry, music, and dance with the most cutting-edge stage installations, large-scale machinery, holographic images and other means of contemporary art to create an extremely shocking and splendid cultural and artistic masterpiece! Promote a rite of passage lifestyle and carry forward Chinese traditional culture! In the sound of ritual and music, the elegance of a hundred generations is swayed; between heaven and earth, the gentleman's style echoes! The ancients described the exquisiteness and grand imagery of Shao music as "When the Xiao Shao music is completed, the phoenix will come." Therefore, we divide the whole play into three acts, four seasons, and nine tracks - the three acts of "Feng, Ya, and Song" are a scroll of music and poetry; the four seasons of "Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter" are reincarnation scenes; each act has three songs, three threes equal nine, nine equals a perfect auspiciousness of golden sound and jade resounding! Since the complete Shao music has long been lost, in the process of reorganizing it, we were inspired by Confucius' great achievements in promoting ritual music, and thus used the three documents "Zhou Li", "Li Ji" and "Yili" as the source of material and inspiration. At the same time, the change of the four seasons of "spring, summer, autumn and winter" is used as the inner emotional clue, which implicitly corresponds to the reincarnation of nature and Confucius's philosophy of endless pursuit throughout his life! The white egret will be used as an external symbol throughout the plot. It is not only the city bird of Qufu, but also a beautiful image described in ancient poems. The whole play will witness the profoundness of Chinese ritual and music culture through the unique perspective we give it!

The 2024 China International Confucius Cultural Festival will be held in Qufu, Shandong, the hometown of Confucius, from September 27 to October 7, with the theme of "Dialogue with Confucius, Mutual Learning of Civilizations". This Confucius Cultural Festival strives to "host in Shandong, participate globally", invites more than 370 overseas guests to participate, and links more than 70 Chinese overseas cultural centers and tourism offices to carry out "Rites and Music in the World - International Communication of Confucius Culture". This year marks the 2575th anniversary of Confucius' birth and the 30th anniversary of the successful inclusion of "Confucius Temple, Confucius Mansion, and Confucius Forest" in Qufu, China in the World Cultural Heritage. To this end, this Confucius Cultural Festival specially organizes the "Civitas in This" Global Confucian Temple and Academy Origin Tracing Tour. This year's Confucius Cultural Festival plans to hold activities such as cultural exchanges and civilization dialogues, innovates the way of holding the Confucius Sacrifice Ceremony, sets up the main sacrifice site in Qufu, and links with "Confucius Sacrifice in Quzhou", "Confucius Sacrifice Overseas", and "Confucius Sacrifice in Clouds" to jointly showcase the charm of Chinese culture. This year, the identities of overseas guests participating in the Confucius Cultural Festival are more diverse, including representatives of international organizations, international sister cities, ambassadors to China, representatives of overseas Confucius Temples, Confucian Temples, academies, Confucian institutions, overseas descendants of Confucius, overseas Chinese and youth representatives.
