Bookmarks is excited to announce that Ibram X. Kendi and Nic Stone will be the opening keynote speakers for the 18th Annual Festival of Books & Authors in Winston-Salem. Join us on September 21, 2023, at Wait Chapel for this remarkable event. Kendi and Stone will engage in a captivating discussion about their book, "How to Be a (Young) Antiracist," with a conversation partner to be announced. Tickets for this in-conversation event are priced at $30.00 (+ taxes and fees) and include admission and a paperback copy of the book. It's important to note that there will not be a book signing or an opportunity to meet the authors at this event. Doors will open at 6:00pm, and seating will be on a general admission basis. Additionally, there will be an ASL interpreter present.
