The 9th Annual Gen Gap Invitational is a highly anticipated event taking place in Berkeley, California on August 27, 2023. This prestigious tournament brings together the top nationally ranked junior tennis players in each age group, providing them with the unique opportunity to compete alongside and against NorCal's finest adult players, including former collegiate and professional athletes. By bridging the generation gap, this tournament not only offers our talented young players a chance to challenge themselves against more seasoned competitors, but it also allows our adult participants to mentor and give back to the sport they love.

Participants will be divided into teams, with both junior and adult players working together in a thrilling team tennis format. Each round will consist of one set, and captains have the option to substitute a bench player at the end of any point. The winning team will be determined based on the number of matches won, the least amount of games lost, and head-to-head results. The top two finishing teams will have the opportunity to compete in an exciting 10-point match tiebreak for the highly coveted trophy.
