The British Consulate in Kaohsiung (Kaohsiung British Consulate) is located on the Qijin Peninsula in Gushan District, Kaohsiung City. It was built in 1865 and was the British diplomatic agency in Taiwan at that time. The architectural style of the consulate is Western-style classical architecture, which is of historical significance. Today, after restoration and renovation, it is a museum that displays British history and culture in Taiwan. Visitors can visit the historical exhibitions of the Consulate, enjoy beautiful views of the harbour and learn about diplomacy and trade at the time. This is an important cultural and historical attraction in Kaohsiung.

Liuhe Night Market is a famous night market in Kaohsiung when we were children, but now the crowd has gradually become less, there are not many places to visit, there are local friends introduced, we may go to Ruifeng Night Market with a little lively!

Sizihwan Scenic Area

Kaohsiung Xiziwan is a picturesque seaside attraction located in Gushan District, Kaohsiung City, close to Qijin. There are vast beaches, fresh sea breeze and magnificent sunset views, making it a good place for tourists and local residents to relax. There is also a historic Xiziwan Fort near Xiziwan, which was once a fortification and is now a good place for tourists to learn about history. The seaside trail is suitable for walking, and there are many restaurants and cafes around, where you can taste food and enjoy the sea view. Xiziwan is a famous tourist attraction in Kaohsiung that integrates nature and history.

I stayed at the landmark 85 building in Kaohsiung during the Spring Festival that year. The hotel prices increased by 50% during the Spring Festival, and it cost more than 1,000 yuan per night. The night view of Kaohsiung city from the building was still very clear.
