Tibetan culture is really profound and mysterious. I spent a long time inside and it was fascinating and shocking. The driver said that it would take an hour to see the whole thing, but if you really want to visit, it will take about two and a half hours.

The Eight-Treasure Wish-Fulfilling Pagoda shone bright white in the highland sunlight. Tourists busied themselves snapping photos, while Tibetans circumambulated the pagoda clockwise, their prayer wheels creaking softly. The pagodas commemorated the eight great virtues of the Buddha&#39;s life, but for most, they were more landmarks than spiritual symbols. I suddenly realized that within the same space, two distinct &quot;pilgrimages&quot; existed&mdash;one to witness, the other to attain enlightenment.

The tour is well organized with a coordinator contacting you the night before to confirm all details and pick up. The minivan had plenty of space and only half full. The driver was nice and friendly and drove smoothly. I would recommend this tour for any solo travelers looking to avoid the hassle of getting to Qinghai Lake on your own.

We went there early, around nine in the morning, which was the breakfast time for the animals. Everyone was quite lively. After a walk around eleven o&#39;clock, we wanted to take another look at the snow leopards and caracals on the left side of the entrance before leaving. Many of them were asleep, and some only had their butts exposed.

Weihai is truly a perfect place for relaxation! 🌊For three days, we wandered the coastline, stopping here and there to enjoy the sea breeze and seafood. It was a complete respite!

Day 1:
Morning: Weihai Park

About/Experience: Weihai&#39;s landmark park, with its vast coastline, is perfect for strolling and taking photos. It&#39;s quiet and less crowded in the morning.
Getting There: Take a taxi or bus to the &quot;Weihai Park&quot; stop.
Opening Hours: Open all day.
Lunch: Seafood food stalls

About/Experience: Must-try seafood in Weihai! Recommend the steamed crab and garlic scallops; they&#39;re fresh and affordable.
Getting There: There are many food stalls within walking distance of the park.
Opening Hours: 11:00 AM - 10:00 PM
Afternoon: Liugong Island

About/Experience: Take a boat to the island for stunning scenery and a very educational lesson on the history of the First Sino-Japanese War. Transportation: Approximately 20 minutes by boat from Weihai Port

Evening: Hanlefang Night Market

Introduction/Experience: Weihai&#39;s super popular night market, with a wide selection of Korean snacks. The spicy rice cakes and fish cake soup are highly recommended!

Day 2:
Morning: Chengshantou

Introduction/Experience: Weihai&#39;s easternmost point, with a stunning sunrise! The morning sunrise is packed, so come early!

Transportation: Self-drive or chartered car recommended

Lunch: Seaweed House Restaurant

Introduction/Experience: Unique seaweed house architecture, specializing in Jiaodong seafood. Recommended are the sea urchin steamed egg and Spanish mackerel dumplings.
Transportation: Near Chengshantou Scenic Area

Afternoon: Naxianghai

Introduction/Experience: Super clean beach, sparsely populated, beautiful scenery, perfect for relaxing, playing in the water, and taking incredible photos! Getting There: Drive or take a taxi, approximately 40 minutes

Evening: Hot Spring Hotel

Introduction/Experience: After a day of fun, soak in a hot spring. We recommend the hot spring hotel near Naxiang Sea. The environment is amazing!

Day 3:
Morning: Cycling along the Coastal Road

Introduction/Experience: Rent a bike and cycle along the coastal road. The ocean views are breathtaking! It&#39;s a relaxing experience! Transportation: There are car rentals available in the city.
Hours: Cycling is recommended during the day.
Lunch: Mama&#39;s Hand Korean Restaurant

Introduction/Experience: A popular Korean restaurant in Weihai. We recommend the spicy chicken feet and bibimbap. Remember to get there early to queue.
Transportation: Take a taxi to Mama&#39;s Hand.
Hours: 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM, 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM.
Afternoon: Xingfumen Square

Introduction/Experience: Another landmark in Weihai, perfect for photos and check-in. The sunset in the evening is stunning.
Transportation: Take the bus or taxi to Xingfumen Square.
Hours: Open all day.
Evening: Return trip.

End: Weihai is truly a relaxing city. The seafood, ocean views, and Korean food are all fantastic!

Tips:
The beach can be windy, so bring a jacket. The Hanlefang Night Market is very crowded, so avoid peak hours.
