Xumi Fushou Temple, located to the east of Putuo Zongcheng Temple, is also known as the &quot;Panchen Palace&quot;. It was built by Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty to welcome the Sixth Panchen Lama of Tibet to come to the court to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Emperor Qianlong. It was built in the 45th year of Emperor Qianlong&#39;s reign in the Qing Dynasty (1780).
It is recommended to visit the Putuo Zongcheng Temple first. There are free shuttle buses on the tourist square that can take guests to the Xumi Fushou Temple. Walking is not recommended. Xumi Fushou Temple faces north and south, covers an area of ​​37,920 square meters, and is much smaller than the Putuo Zongcheng Temple. Although it is not very grand, its architectural style inherits the excellent artistic tradition of Chinese classical gardens, which is small and unique. It takes less than an hour to see the whole place. It is recommended to visit together, but not alone.
On March 4, 1961, Xumi Fushou Temple was announced by the State Council of the People&#39;s Republic of China as the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units. It feels unreasonable and needs to be improved in this regard.
