2025 Chang'an Lantern Festival Daming Palace National Heritage Park is based on the palace cultural attributes of Daming Palace, with reference to historical background and story allusions, drawing on the image and connotation of cultural relics and monuments, and planning and designing 13 groups of lanterns. Many carefully prepared theme lanterns form five major cultural spaces such as Danfeng Ge Jiuzou and Hanyuan Yue Chang'an. The palace ruins and the colorful lanterns complement each other, using art to restore the court life of the Tang Dynasty and create a romantic and beautiful "palace aesthetics" feast.
The 13 lanterns include: Jiutian Changhe Lantern, Li Sheng Qianqiu Lantern, Lying Lion Awakening Spring Lantern, Auspicious Beast Welcoming Spring Lantern, Datang Cuju Lantern, etc.

This is a good place to visit in Xi&#39;an and it is better if you visit the same day as the mausoleum as it is close. But if you don&#39;t have a chinese ID, it is better to buy your ticket there. We had to refund our trip tickets and bougth another there.
