The Kaohsiung British Consulate is located on the Cijin Peninsula in Gushan District, Kaohsiung City. It was built in 1865 and was the British diplomatic mission in Taiwan at that time. The building style of the consulate is a Western classical building with historical significance. Today, after restoration and reconstruction, it has become a museum that displays the history and culture of Britain in Taiwan. Visitors can visit the historical exhibitions of the consulate, enjoy the beautiful harbor views, and learn about the diplomatic and trade activities at that time.
