Once a year, The District: Czech Village & New Bohemia invites members of the community to a luncheon as a 
celebration of progress
. This event highlights the achievements of our District businesses, local organizations dedicated to place-making, and highlight our future projects!
The 
Robert Chadima Visionary Awards
 take place during the luncheon and two community members are honored for their dedication to bettering The District through an innovative and selfless lens. This award is presented annually to honor individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the district and reflect Robert Chadima’s vision of entrepreneurship, innovation, and creativity for the neighborhood.
The event will take place at the Olympic South Side Theater in Cedar Rapids, IA on April 15th, 2025. Doors open at 11:30am with the Program beginning at Noon. This will be a plated luncheon. 
The DISTRICT is alive and thriving because of many visionaries who have lived and live among us. They have inspired the community with their action, dedication, and love of the district.
