In the monoprint process, participants will work with acrylic paint and natural objects or found materials to create intricate layers and textures. This serves as the foundation for a standalone print or can be combined with the letterpress print process, which will be demonstrated during the workshop. The letterpress printing utilizes an antique letterpress that incorporates text set from vintage wood and metal type. Additionally, participants will have the chance to further enhance their prints with collage and painting, enabling them to create truly unique and personalized artworks.
All necessary materials will be provided, including a mini Gelli Plate for each participant to take home and continue their printing exploration.
