Oblik Atelier at Haven Spa Trunk Show at NYC Jewelry Week 2024 | Haven Spa
Nov 22, 2024 (UTC-5)ENDED
Mercer
For two days please join Mia of Oblik Atelier at the Haven Spa for a trunk show. You can book a treatment and pamper yourself and shop a curated collection of jewelry. Mia Hebib jewelry is defined by polarities of hard and soft. Mia is transforming metal, inherently rigid and hard material, into fluid, graceful, sculptural jewelry and objects. Her hand-crafted pieces, while abstract in nature, draw from observing the shapes around her found in architecture, urban and natural detritus, and human interactions. She is curious about the relationship of what her mind perceives and what her hands can produce. Oblik Atelier is an intimate studio where each piece is produced by Mia, and the work is as much about personal connection as it is about function. “Oblik Atelier” means “form studio” in Croatian, reflecting the conversation around sinuous shapes that conform and complement the body. Each November, NYC Jewelry Week proudly presents ‘The Week,’ a 7-day celebration dedicated to the art of jewelry. This annual event invites a global audience to explore the world of jewelry through a dynamic mix of in-person and virtual experiences, spanning New York City and beyond.
