The 2-Day Red Cross Lifeguard Training - Blended Learning is an engaging and informative event that will equip participants with the skills needed to save lives in and around the pool. The training will take place on Saturday, March 2nd and Sunday, March 3rd at the Scott Valley in Mill Valley, CA. Prior to the in-person training, participants are required to complete a blended learning course and present their certificate of completion to the instructor. 

To ensure eligibility, participants must be at least 15 years old by the last day of the class. Additionally, they must pass a series of swim tests, including a 300-yard nonstop swim, 2 minutes of treading water, and a timed weight-retrieval drill. It's important to note that refunds will not be given to those who are unable to meet the prerequisites.

For those who may need some extra practice, it is highly recommended to condition oneself ahead of the class by doing some pool work. All other necessary knowledge and skills will be taught during the training. 

In terms of logistics, participants are advised to bring their blended learning certificate, a competitive style swimsuit, snacks/lunch, plenty of water, sun protection, towels, and extra clothing and layers, especially during colder months.
