Every autumn, Hitachi Seaside Park in Ibaraki Prefecture is transformed into a fairytale world by gorgeous red leaves! In particular, the approximately 40,000 mellow and lovely "kokia" (コキア) on the "Viewing Hill" will gradually change from green to deep red in mid-October, covering the entire hill like a burning flame, which is eye-catching. Not only are there red kokia, but there are also colorful autumn flowers such as cosmos and buckwheat flowers, which complement the red leaves and show a different beauty of autumn. In late October, the kokia will gradually change from deep red to golden yellow, as if a golden carpet has been laid, which is a great time to take pictures of the autumn scenery!
