Fragile and powerful, flowers speak a universal language that can span centuries and cultures. They tell emotions, celebrate beauty, protest silently and guard age-old stories. And it is precisely to them that the Chiostro del Bramante in Rome dedicates an extraordinary exhibition: “Flowers. From the Renaissance to artificial intelligence”, scheduled from 14 February to 14 September 2025. The exhibition, curated by Franziska Stöhr with Roger Diederen, in collaboration with Suzanne Landau, offers a journey through five centuries of art, culture and innovation.

The exhibition Salvador Dalì, between art and myth, dedicated to the great master of surrealism, organized by Navigare in partnership with Difesa Servizi, a company of the Ministry of Defense, with the aim of enhancing the Museums of the Italian Army and set up by the curator of international exhibitions Vincenzo Sanfo, with the support of an international committee, was presented. The exhibition will be open from January 25 to July 27, 2025 at the Historical Museum of the Italian Army Infantry, and is sponsored by the Lazio Region, Rome Capital - Department of Culture Italy and Oficina Cultural de la Embajada de España.

Palazzo Bonaparte is preparing to inaugurate an important exhibition season for the year 2025, on the occasion of the Jubilee and the 25th anniversary of the birth of Arthemisia. From February to June, there will be a very important monographic exhibition dedicated to Edvard Munch, with 100 works from the Munch Museum in Oslo. More than 20 years after the last exhibition dedicated to Munch in Rome, the largest exhibition ever held arrives at Palazzo Bonaparte. Edvard Munch (Norway, 1863 -1944) is celebrated with a major retrospective, under the patronage of the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Rome, in collaboration with the Munch Museum in Oslo.

Gagosian presents Italian Days, an exhibition that juxtaposes more than twenty photographs by Richard Avedon shot on the streets of Rome, Sicily, and Venice—eighteen of which are from the series Italy (1946–48), presented in its entirety here for the first time—with iconic portraits of notable cultural figures that define his distinctive style. Images from a 1946 series portraying Zazi, a Roman street performer, are also included. Gagosian has represented Avedon’s work worldwide since 2011.

D o not put it off any longer! Join Leatherstocking Firearms Training on Saturday, June 7th and Sunday, June 8th for the New York Pistol Permit Pre-licensing class. This class is approved and satisfies the training requirements to get a concealed carry pistol permit in Oneida, Herkimer, Madison, Chenango, Otsego, Schoharie and Delaware Counties. Class will cover all required topics promulgated in NY Penal Law section 400.00(19)including: Application process General handgun and ammunition knowledge & safety Safe storage Basics of marksmanship De-escalation and conflict avoidance strategies Overview of applicable NY and Federal law (safe storage requirements, traveling with firearms, prohibited locations, and use of force, etc) This class will also include multiple opportunities to get hands on training including: loading and unloading various types of handguns holster work dry firing Class will conclude with a 50 question written exam and a shooting qualification. The live fire portion will be conducted on site with non-lethal UTM Target Shooting Ammunition. This specialty ammunition simulates the live fire experience without having to travel to a range (firearm, ammunition, targets, shooting glasses and hearing protection are all provided). Additionally, upon completion of the New York requirements, and at no extra cost, students may elect to complete the Utah Non-Resident CCW class requirements. This brief supplemental presentation covers the Utah law related to conceal carry of firearms. Fingerprinting services and Utah application will be provided. The Utah Non-Resident CCW permit is recognized by over 30 states, and has a turn around time of less than 60 day. Students are required to bring photo id, note taking materials, bagged lunch (plan on a "working lunch"), drinks/snacks, and should wear a sturdy belt for attaching a holster. Due to demand and space limitations class fees are transferable but not refundable. *Please Note* this is a two day class which starts at 8 am and ends at 5 pm each day. Students MUST complete both days of class, get an 80% or better on the written exam, and pass the shooting qualification in order to receive their certificate.
