Castle Theatre Company is delighted to announce its 2025 touring production of one of Shakespeare’s most entertaining comedies: Twelfth Night. When a ship is wrecked on the rocks, a tale of mistaken identities, love triangles, and humorous deceptions ensues. After the shipwreck, Viola is separated from her twin brother, Sebastian. Disguised as a man, named Cesario, she enters the service of Duke Orsino, who already loves Lady Olivia. However, Olivia falls for Cesario, unaware that she is Viola, while Viola secretly loves Orsino. Meanwhile, Sebastian, who survived the shipwreck, arrives, leading to Olivia marrying him, thinking he is Cesario. As the confusion unravels, Viola's identity is revealed, and Orsino realizes his love for her. The Bath Jane Austen Festival is the largest and longest-running Jane Austen festival in the world. The first Jane Austen Festival took place over a weekend in 2001 at the Jane Austen Centre in Bath. Today, the event has grown to a 10-day event, attracting over 3,500 visitors from around the world. The festival opens with the Regency Costume Promenade. Since 2004, over 1,000 people dressed in Regency costume have paraded through the streets of Bath, and the event holds the Guinness World Record for the Largest Gathering in Regency Costume.
