Join us as we show the Documentary Feature, The Power of Sports for Amputees. This story follows three people with leg limb loss looking to participate and or compete in sports. With the right tools, their success is unlimited. We'll have light fare and an opportunity to meet people within the Amputee Community! The event will take place in the S107 of the Environment and Natural Resources Bldg on the University of Arizona campus. Doors will open at 5:00pm for snacks and networking, with the movie to begin at 5:45pm. The movie lasts 1 1/2 hours with a Q & A Panel to follow. The Panel will include; Peter Hughes, Director of Adaptive Athletics for the U of A; Norma Trujillo, Athlete & Southern Arizona Adaptive Sports Board; Richard Sandavol, Athlete & Southern Arizona Adaptive Sports Board; Prosthetist from Hanger Clinic in Tucson; Marci Krown, Director/Filmmaker of the Documentary and others TBD. Please RSVP by Friday, April 25th for our food count. The closest parking is located at the 6th Street Garage.
