Hua Meng; affectionate songs about going to Southeast Asia float from the waves, telling about the separation of relatives and the longing for hometown. The volcanic eruptions, lava pouring, banditry, tsunamis and strong winds encountered on the way to Southeast Asia, and the thrilling game between man and nature. The performance of the "Min Nan Shen Yun" is a large-scale affair that reflects the folk customs of Fujian and Taiwan. It combines the elements of southern Fujian, such as Nanyin, Bo cake, puppets, drama, South Shaolin, Huian women and Zheng Chenggong, along with the essence of marine culture and southern Fujian culture. The entire play is divided into six acts: The Water-Made Minnan, The South East Land, The Spirit of the Sea, The Religious Holy Land, The Harmonious Homeland and The Hero's Hometown.
