Seguendo un metodo, che ho sperimentato in anni di carriera teatrale e di insegnamento, ogni comico può costruire un testo partendo dalle proprie caratteristiche psicofisiche e dalle proprie radici biografiche. Partendo da improvvisazioni guidate, parodie, imitazioni, spunti autobiografici, si giunge gradualmente all’elaborazione di un monologo: parola, voce, corpo e testo non sono elementi separati, ma crescono insieme nel processo creativo. Il mio metodo prevede dunque che per creare un “assolo” che sia di stand up, di cabaret o per un personaggio televisivo, si parta sempre da se stessi, dal proprio modo di osservare le cose e dai linguaggi espressivi che appartengono a ciascuno anche se magari ne è ancora inconsapevole: è su queste potenzialità che lavoreremo affinché ogni allievo possa sperimentare nel suo piccolo l’ideazione di un monologo umoristico che potrà essere in seguito sviluppato ed eventualmente presentato al pubblico. DESTINATARI: Il master è rivolto a tutti coloro che abbiano qualche esperienza teatrale pregressa o che abbiano frequentato almeno due anni di scuole teatrali. ABBIGLIAMENTO E MATERIALI: I corsisti (da un minimo di 10 ad un massimo di 15 persone) dovranno indossare abbigliamento comodo, scarpe da ginnastica leggere o calze antiscivolo. Portare materassino (tipo yoga), blocco appunti e penna. Chi è Alessandra Faiella? Da ragazzina vedo Mistero Buffo di Dario Fo alla palazzina Liberty e rimango folgorata: il teatro sarà il mio mestiere. “Quel tipo” di teatro, con l’attore solo in scena, senza costumi e scenografie, che comunica solo col suo corpo e la sua comicità. Dopo la scuola di Quellidigrock e del Teatro Officina, vengo presa con un provino proprio nella Compagnia Fo- Rame. Sono al settimo cielo. Dopo questa esperienza che mi da una carica straordinaria incontro l’attore comico Giorgio Ganzerli, scriviamo due spettacoli di Cabaret e con lui parte una lunga gavetta in tutti i locali del Paese. Poi per il nostro duo arriva la TV, prima con Frassica- Faletti poi con Zelig, Buldozer e infine e Gialappa’s. A fine anni 90’ debutto anche come solista nei programmi di Serena Dandini. Ancora adesso mi riconoscono per Ambient! Mentre continuo col teatro, ecco altra TV: Chiambretti, Bignardi e ancora Zelig e Colorado. Ma il teatro resta il grande amore: Stasera non escort, con le colleghe Rita Pelusio, Claudia Penoni e Margherita Antonelli conquista per tre stagioni i teatri italiani; nel 2013, scrivo La versione di Barbie per Mondadori, e porto tuttora in scena il monologo tratto dal libro, poi è la volta Nudi e crudi di Bennet con Max Pisu, Coppia aperta di Fo- Rame e infine Rosalyn il capolavoro noir di Edoardo Erba che mi vede recitare a fianco di Marina Massironi per la regia di Serena Sinigaglia. Attualmente Appunti G con Pelusio, Vasini e la giornalista Livia Grossi è in tournée nei teatri italiani. Nella mia biografia non è mancato il cinema, con i film dell’indimenticabile amico Max Croci e “Le voci sole” che mi vede coprotagonista con Giovanni Storti e il giovane Davide Calgaro. Il film ha vinto il Grand Jury Prize New Director competition 2022 al Festival di Seattle (USA) ed è stato selezionato al festival di Taormina (2022). This session will teach you how to use masking tape to create clean crisp designs. We will be using wooden blanks for wall art, wooden boxes or serving trays for you to design then then paint, giving you the skills to take away to create your own tape art on furniture at home. You will be taught by Ruth, our in house Creative Lead and professional furniture refinisher. Ruth specialises in Geometric designs and tape art at Reet Good Wood CIC within Leigh Spinners Mill. Reet Good Wood CIC is a creative space which was set up for adults who are going through or have received a late Neurodivergent diagnosis. We are opening our doors for this session to ALL ADULTS who want to come to learn how to use tape to create gemoetric patterns to decorate a wooden box, serving tray or create a piece of wall art to take home with you. The skills you learn can be used in your own practice when upcycling furniture or creating bespoke pieces for your home. You will be provided with a wooden blank shape to practice on, then you will choose whether you want to create a design on a wooden box, serving tray or a bigger wooden blank to use as wall art. All paints,brushes, tape, materials and guidance are included by the ticket fee. By offering this session on a Saturday, it means the building is quiet, and we can create more bespoke working and teaching experiences. We're asking for a £30 ticket contribution to cover teaching, operational costs and materials. All money generated will be put back in to the CIC so we are able to continue our work with the Neurodivergent community. This workshop is for adults of any gender identity. You do need to be able to work independently as you will be expected to be able to work unsupervised at times, to keep yourself safe and to be able to create your own designs and painting. Group size is limited to 6 places. Demand for these sessions is high so if you can not make it please cancel your booking in advance to allow other people to book. If you want a video or any more information about the workshop space, or want to visit first - that can be arranged. Refreshments, paint, materials and great company all included. Please note: Lunch is not provided but you are welcome to bring your own. These sessions are located in a workshop environment so please wear clothes you don't mind getting paint on. We do have a few aprons available but your are welcome to bring your own if you feel more comforatble to do so.
