Calling all fight fans! The Roughest and Toughest Brawl is coming back to the Cabarrus Arena on February 21st and 22nd. The Roughest and Toughest Brawl is a NC boxing authority sanctioned amateur boxing tournament between local competitors with no prior professional fighting experience of any kind. Just local guys and gals, slugging it out for 3 one-minute rounds, competing for cash prizes, and the title of the Roughest and Toughest brawlers in the Concord area. The fights will start at 8:00 PM on Friday night, each fighter will fight 1 match on Friday night, winners of their respective matches will advance to Saturday night. Saturday night fights start at 8:00 PM and the tournament will continue until there is just 1 fighter left in each division and a champion is crowned. VIP tables are available starting at $1000, the VIP table package consists of 8 tickets for each night of the event, with catered food and an open bar from 6:30-9:00PM. Doors set to open at 6:30PM each night of the event. General Admission tickets will be $35 at the door, save money by purchasing online today! Customers must purchase tickets for rows 1-3 for seating in rows 1-3. Kids tickets and general admission tickets will not grant seating in rows 1-3. Josh King is a creative producer, animator, and digital sculptor with over 20 years of experience in the broadcasting industry. During his tenure at WSOC-TV in Charlotte, Josh earned two Emmy awards and 12 Telly Awards for Mecklenburg County for his innovative storytelling, 3D animation and video production work. He is a retired First Sergeant with 23 years of military service. He has successfully blended his artistic talents with his technical ability, creating a body of work that spans video production, digital fabrication, and large-scale sculptures. His projects include contributions to the WWI monument in France, and sculptures for various military organizations. Josh will be showing us how he uses his artistic ability to create a 3sculpture on a computer and then print his work in 3D. No need to register The event is free and open to the public. Join us this February half-term for some Balance Biking Fun!! This Balance bike session is for new and experienced balance bikers ages 2 years up. Balance bikes (limited amount of bikes so please bring your own if possible) and protective equipment such as helmets, arm pads, knee pads and gloves will be provided if you dont have your own. 45 mins of balance biking fun, games and learning. Join us this February half-term for some cycling fun and help get your young ones riding a bike. Learn to Ride Session - Our Access Sport cycling coaches will be there to support riders to get pedalling. We focus on building confidence and skills such as pedalling unaided, breaking and cornering. For this session we ask YOU WILL NEED TO BRING YOUR OWN bike as we only have a few bikes of different sizes that we are able to bring with us to concord. We provided all safety wear if needed (helmet, arm pads, knee pads and gloves). Age: there is no minimum age or maximum age for this session it’s all about the riders ability. (Boxing/Athletic commission, etc.)Roughest and Toughest Brawl is an amateur event. NO professional boxers, kick boxers or MMA fighters...Allowable ages to participate in North Carolina are 18 years of age and up. Fighters over 40 years of age must provide a letter from a physician stating they are fit to compete. Please consult your state boxing commission regarding additional rules and regulationsYou MUST present a valid Driver's license or Government-issued photo I.D. to participate.Each fight consists of (3) one-minute rounds of just punching. NO wrestling or kicking. There is a one-minute rest period between each round.Fighters receive a brief physicians exam and breathalyzer test before they are cleared to fight.There is NO entry fee for fighters for the event but all fighters must purchase an amateur State license the day of the show. Fighters will need to bring $50 cash if they have not signed up and paid their registration online.Promoter will provide mandatory safety equipment. (16oz boxing gloves, headgear, and groin protection.)Fighters must provide their own mouthpiece but no other equipment.Fighters must arrive at the venue between 4:00-4:30pm to complete paperwork and physicals etc. before fight time at 8pm. Late arrivals may be rejected due to time limitations.All events are single elimination. Each fighter will fight once on Friday night. Friday night winners will return Saturday night and may fight 2-3 times to reach championship.DO NOT drink any alcohol for 24 hours prior to event.Fighters on Event Day: 4:00-4:30pm fighters arrive for physicals, paperwork, weigh-ins, breathalyzer. Fighters may not leave building after breathalyzer per Boxing Commission rules.Promoter provides 16 oz boxing gloves, head gear, and groin protector.Fighters must bring mouth piece or purchase one from promoter.Fighters may wear clothing of their choice.Fighters must wear soft-soled shoes (tennis, boxing or wrestling shoes)Water will be provided by promoter.
