Next Perfect Day, Toronto's first Japanese city pop band, plays the music from Studio Ghibli's classic animated films! The FRETORI Kick Off Party is back for 2025! Year 3 in this format..... What's happening at the event? First and foremost, it's a party! A social gathering of like-minded people. We want to bring the cycling community together, bike shops, cyclists and industry people alike. It's FREE to attend. We've invited more than 20 independent bicycle retailers to the event. Each one of them will bring a special bike to show, built with Shimano & PRO components. These custom bike builds will be on display for guests to see up close in person. Skratch & Bivo - two other brands FRETORI represents as well will also be present! There are no obligations to guests who attend. It's simple, if you like cool bikes and great people, this should be a fun night in Toronto. Favourite Bike! We will have a favourite bike vote! Every guest will have a chance to vote for their favourite bike at the party. For the first time ever, The FRETROPHY will be awarded to the winning shop! We're stoked for this one. Maybe another shop can take the title from Alpha Velo this year? Raffle! We will also have a raffle via Club 1882, Cycling Canada's fundraising organization. Come check out the 2nd edition of Master Improv, Master Life. This workshop is a crash course in improv, with emphasis on how to translate improv skills into everyday life. We are super excited to have you join us for a fun night at a new location! Tinker at Bampot isn't going anywhere, but we're excited to expand, connect with more communities and businesses. CREED's has an incredible space with big long tables ideal for crafting and tinkering together! ABOUT THE EVENT Tinker three ways! 1 - (Workshop) A guided custom portrait workshop (40 people max). 2 - (General Admission) Play with pre-cut out materials from the artist and build your own portraits and collages. 3 (also accessed with General Admission) - A tinker classic - show up empty handed and play with whatever you can find or bring your own creative projects to work in company of others. ABOUT THE CUSTOMIZED PORTRAIT WORKSHOP The custom workshop will guide you through a step-by-step lesson on how to create a paper portrait of yourself or anyone you'd like to create in paper form. This could be you, your friend, or your favourite author! After you purchase a workshop ticket, we will send you a form to submit a photo of the portrait you wish to replicate and we will have it printed and available to you upon arrival. Easy peasy! You will be supplied with every material needed to create a paper masterpiece, all you need to do is simply show up! We will have plenty of different coloured papers to choose from but you are of course welcome to bring your own kind of paper to play with as well.
