About this event Five students, in 1944, 2026 and 2081, are trapped in the rubble of their bombed-out building. With no way of getting out of their “brick prison” on their own, the three groups of students can only wait desperately for help to arrive. Set in three different eras and on three different days, the students are given plenty of time to talk to each other, and to question themselves and the world at war around them. This is an original play written and performed by Glendon students. It is inspired by current international events, but also by the courses the author has taken at York University over the past three years. Topics as varied as war, relationships, communication, sexuality and psychology are explored in this satire of today's society. This comedy-drama is aimed at a wide audience, but includes some passages with coarse and sexual language. This evening is all about educating cyclists about navigating the streets safely and educated with their rights. What we should all know while being out in the city streets, and what to do in the event of being doored, in the instance of an aggressive driver, being stopped by police etc., There will aso be an open Q&A session where you can ask any related questions.
