Panda and Little Panda Exhibition -Shizuoka and Shin-Shizuoka Cenova- | Shizuoka
Mar 20–May 6, 2025 (UTC+9)ENDED
Shizuoka
This experiential exhibition introduces the entire world of the film "Panda Go Panda," which is said to be the source of Takahata and Miyazaki's work and is considered their most important work.
There are plenty of fun photo spots, such as a replica of Mimiko's house, where the story is set, and fluffy objects of Papanda and Pan-chan!
There will also be special exhibits of exclusive materials such as photographs and merchandise from the panda boom that swept Japan at the time, as well as original film drawings and posters.
50 years after its theatrical release, Panda Go Panda continues to shine and is loved by a wide range of generations, from children to adults as well as families.
We hope you enjoy the world of Panda Go Panda.

The annual Shizuoka Theater Festival (World Theater Festival Shizuoka) is carefully planned and organized by the Shizuoka Performing Arts Center (SPAC). Since the establishment of SPAC in Shizuoka Prefecture in 1995, it has been set as a pioneer in Japan's publicly funded performing arts. In 1997, under the leadership of the first artistic director Tadashi Suzuki, SPAC was officially launched and began its artistic journey. Since Satoshi Miyagi took over as chief artistic director in 2007, SPAC has not only entered a new era of rapid development, but also is committed to "bringing the world closer together through performing arts."
