Is this for me?If you are trans, nonbinary, and/or intersex and looking for a place to climb with the community, this meetup is for you! We envision this as a space for people of any of these identities (broadly defined) to come together, hang out, have fun, and climb. People of all experience levels are welcome and encouraged, whether you have never climbed before or have been climbing for many years! CRUX events are non-competitive and for all body shapes and sizes. Please note that Movement Harlem only has bouldering walls (no toprope or lead climbing). About This Event: Harlem Hill Half The inaugural Harlem Hill Half is the first of its kind. For all the times you’ve ever tried to avoid Central Park’s premier Harlem Hill, you will now get the unique opportunity to embrace the hill to complete ten ascents for a total mileage of 13.1-ish miles. The cost of entry includes a beer (alcoholic or non alcoholic back at As Is), custom race bibs, and access to the image folder after the race. There will be a mid-hill fuel stop with electrolytes and gels. Runners MUST have Strava downloaded and record their individual segment/activity as there will not be official timing. This loop race will challenge your speed, endurance, and team efforts. Both individual and team registration options are available. Dear Neverwinterers, this time we will pedal through NY, CT and MA via the well known Harlem valley trail. This is a really gorgeous route that we do almost every year. We will have numerous stops and possibly visit the lakes. This route has plenty of places where you can refill the water and are very environmentally friendly. Half of the trail goes via a protected bicycle lane, where you will never see the cars. There will be some small hills but most of the time it will be flat ground. Because everyone has their own cycling pace, we might split into groups at some point.
