Art for the unapologetically bold! Dana is not your typical artist. She's a creator, a teacher, a visionary, and above all, a storyteller. Think equal parts Bob Ross and Richard Simmons, mixed with a straighttalking Southerner and you’ll get a sense of her joyful and vibrant vibe. A breath of fresh air in the art world. With a career decorated by collaborations with renowned names like Nick Olsen, iconic brands like Bernhardt, and a memorable project for Chip and Joanna Gaines, Dana's portfolio is a testament to her versatility and boundless creativity. Her values lie in genuine connections, believing that the essence of art is not just in its creation but in the relationships it nurtures. Dana's holds a unique position in the art world as both a creator and an innovator, working across multiple media and scale in her work. She is celebrated for her bold, yet ultimately approachable, point of view. You’ve never met someone quite like Dana before. As an artist living in Thomasville, NC, she has been actively painting murals for over 20 years. Over the last few years, Dana has adopted encaustic wax as a preferred medium and has been exploring more textured and three-dimensional elements in her artwork. Dana has been influenced by Impressionism and the works of Georgia O’Keefe while traveling to Europe, South America and New Zealand, she gathered ideas, techniques and the qualities of many cultures to integrate into her highly unique artistic style. She has created many works with a realistic or impressionistic flair and is currently exploring the spontaneity of more abstract art. Boldness isn't just about the way I paint; it's in every choice I make to create this beautiful life” —Dana Holliday IG @dana.holliday.artist FB Dana Holliday, Artist
