Use the lovely garden, as well as provided botanicals, as inspiration! We speak both Dutch and English. Everyone is welcome! €2~ per person (cash or card) suggested donation for materials, coffee/tea included. Use our watercolour materials (10 sets available, first come first served) to make a couple of paintings, or bring your own painting equipment and inspiration pictures. About the workshop:As Eindhoven is building its budding stand up comedy scene, we appreciate seasoned and professional comics taking their time out to give comics a chance to hone their skills through discussion and feedback. Within this workshop, we aim to create a safe space for the comics to explore their ideas, make mistakes and learn from them. This beginner's workshop, hosted by Dan Belkin, will help participants start their journey as a stand up comedian through different exercises that explore joke writing, performance technique, and improvisation. Participants will learn different jokes structures, as well techniques for enhancing their own comedic voice. By no means is this an ultimate, end-all guide, this is only to allow participants to put their best foot forward. The world of stand-up comedy can be an intimidating one, especially to those without experience. This workshop will take a realistic and pragmatic approach to the craft taught in a friendly and supportive environment to give you the tools to start your journey! Come take some creative time for yourself and relax whilst learning a quick and fun technique for sketching colourful blooms, whether in the field or at home. This is my favourite fast and loose way of recording flowers, whether it's a bouquet or a single stem. BEGINNER-FRIENDLY No drawing or painting experience necessary; we’ll provide everything for you to learn useful techniques under the guidance of illustrator Laura Carter. We'll be using graphite pencils and watercolour paints, for a no-pressure way to capture the beauty you see. You'll also take home a printed guide with tips and examples.
