Author and nightclub innovator Lon Ballinger discusses his book Party Boys at the Englewood Public Library on Wednesday, April 30 at 7 p.m. in the Mackay Room. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing afterward. Party Boys will sell for $20. Payment is by either cash (preferable) or Venmo. On this edition of our weekly series, we’ll circle a loop around a New Jersey woodland that was saved by the community that cares for it. Together we’ll spot, identify, and photograph the native wildflowers that make up this impressive landscape. Remnant Earth visits the Flat Rock Brook Preserve. All ages and levels of nature knowledge welcome. Dress for the weather and conditions. Some periods of up and downhill climbing.
