Come and learn from some of the best twirlers in the state. Classes will include Modeling, Strut, Solo and Multiple Baton. You may also sign up for private lessons with your favorite Gatorette! Have your competition routines reviewed and cliniced. Learn new tricks and routines! Enjoy a day of serious twirling and lots of fun! Classes will be divided for all levels of twirling from beginner through advanced as well as for all age groups. Cost is $80 per twirler with the camp fees including over 7 hours of twirling as well as a camp t-shirt and lunch. Coaches and parents are welcome to stay and observe. Healing For All 5k and 10k Come join us for a day of healing and fitness at the Albert "Ray" Massey (Westside) Playground ! Lace up your running shoes and get ready to hit the pavement for a good cause. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just starting out, there's a distance for everyone with both a 5k and 10k option. INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC CAMP JUNE 21-22, 2025 The two-day Instrumental Studio Music Camp gives high school students the opportunity to study with UF Studio Faculty and Alumni in individual instrument-specific master-classes, working on technique, solo and ensemble literature, and All-State audition music. UF TOTAL MUSICIANSHIP BAND CAMP JUNE 22-27, 2024 The UF Total Musicianship Band Camp provides an excellent opportunity for musicians with a minimum of one year of study on their chosen instrument to improve their individual performance skills while participating in full-band rehearsals, master-classes, sectionals, chamber winds, and optional private lessons—all under the guidance of the professional faculty, staff, and distinguished alumni of the University of Florida. Students will have the opportunity to take elective classes in student leadership, conducting/drum major skills, theory, rhythm skills, improvisation, marching auxiliaries and other related areas. Each camp will conclude with a performance in the amazing Steinbrenner Band Hall or the beautiful University Auditorium. All Camp attendees will live like Gators in the University of Florida residence halls and eat at the fabulous UF dining facilities. Looking for a fun and engaging activity for your child this summer? Gainesville Martial Arts & Combatives has you covered! Our day-camp is for kids ages 4-12, is a dynamic program designed around the fundamentals of martial arts, in a fun, safe and supportive environment. Each day camp attendees will recieve a basic martial arts skills lesson, engage in a Black Belt Character exercise covering principles such as self-discipline, focus, respect, humility, and as well as participate in games that build confidence, coordination, balance, and strength.
