No experience is necessary, so don't worry if you're a beginner - we'll teach you everything you need to know, including how to measure, cut, texture, stamp and polish your pendant. You'll start off with copper before moving on to sterling silver, and by the end of the class, you'll have created your very own pendant necklace. Our tutor, Carley, is an experienced and passionate maker with a background and university education in Applied Art including Ceramics, Silversmithing, and Textiles. With her expert guidance and support, you'll be amazed at what you can achieve in just a few hours. All materials, a hot or cold drink, and a snack are included, so you can focus on unleashing your creativity without worrying about anything else. Plus, you'll get to take your finished pendant home with you on the same day! Some super important class info. First off, if you're joining us on a weekend or evening, please note that there won't be anyone in reception. Instead, you can find me in the foyer 10 minutes before the class starts, where I'll be there to greet you and get things started. And if for any reason you're running late, just pop me an email at thelittlesilverkiln@mail.com. When it comes to getting here, please use the front entrance of the building. Now, onto the fun stuff! Safety is super important to us, so please make sure to wear suitable clothing for the class. This means clothing that covers your legs and shoes that cover your feet (no sandals allowed!). And if you have long hair, don't forget to bring a hair tie. If you have any dietary requirements, just let us know beforehand and we'll do our best to accommodate you. And in case you're wondering, our studio equipment is fully vegan-friendly, meaning we don't use any leather or rawhide tools. We can't wait to have you in our class! Just remember, if you need to leave by a certain time, please let us know so we can keep an eye on the clock sometimes if we're having lots of fun, the class can run over a little bit! So why wait?
