The Marietta Police Department, Cobb County Police Department and the Cobb Safety Village is dedicated to protecting its citizens in every way possible. We are involved in protecting children through a program called Rad Kids. Rad Kids is a personal empowerment safety education program which includes curriculum for children ages 5-7.
Topics covered include: bully prevention, internet, home, school, vehicle, and outdoor safety. We will also teach them about predator tricks and physical resistance strategies against child abduction.
This summer camp will take place July 14-17. The camp will begin at 9am and will end at 3:30 pm. You will be allowed to drop off your children at the safety village at 8:45am. Afternoon dismissal will begin at 3:30pm. The cost for this summer camp is $85. Please sign up your own kids or refer us to parents with kids ages 5-7.
A camp T shirt and wrist band will be given to each child. Please dress in P.E. attire including closed toe shoes. A snack will be provided every day. Each child will need to bring lunch and a refillable water bottle every day. We will provide lunch for all campers Thursday.
