In this two-night course you will expand on your existing skills to learn new skills and accomplish a more complicated piece. Students must have basic cutting, grinding, foiling experience. You must have attended at least one beginner-level stained glass course. All tools, materials, and equipment will be supplied. All you need to bring is your excitement to learn and have fun! For safety reasons, long pants and closed toe shoes must be worn. If you have an apron, please bring one. Long hair must be tied back when you're using the tools. The Near and Far in Thunder Bay Scavenger Hunt is a lively outdoor game through the streets of Thunder Bay, Ontario. Thunder Bay is a relatively new city, created in the second half of the twentieth century when Fort William and Port Arthur were merged. The result is a glittering tapestry of diverse cultures and dueling histories. Thunder Bay is full of secrets, hidden legends, and even a ghost story or two! On the Near and Far in the Thunder Bay Scavenger Hunt, you and a team will set out on a quest in search of these tales. During the hunt, the Let's Roam app will provide your team with clues and riddles to guide you on your journey through the city. Each location reveals a little more about the people of Thunder Bay, from the Ojibwe, who have stewarded this land for more than five hundred years, to immigrants from all corners of the planet who flowed in during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Along the way, you'll take on challenges that range from thought-provoking trivia questions to delightful photos and entertaining performances. The Near and Far in Thunder Bay Scavenger Hunt is sure to delight! Audiences know him best for playing Bill on the hit CBC sitcom Mr. D for eight seasons, as the host of Match Game on the Comedy Network, and as Doc on Letterkenny. Darrin has appeared twice on The Late Late Show on CBS, and is an eight-time performer at the Montreal Just For Laughs Comedy Festival. He wrote on the CBS sitcom Happy Together starring Damon Wayans Jr. He was called “Hilarious!” by TV Guide, “impeccable” by the Globe & Mail, and GQ magazine called him “one of the hottest comics in Canada.” A Canadian Comedy Award winner, he was twice nominated as the Best Stand-Up in the country.
