Featured Events in Thousand Oaks in June 2025 (June Updated)

Thank you for your interest in our annual Freedom Youth Foundation (FYF) golf tournament fundraiser. We look forward to having a fun and successful tournament with your participation. As always, the proceeds from the tournament will go directly to FYF and be used to support our local programs that give at-risk youth the ability to play recreational sports, go through financial literacy programs and train for employment once they age out. All registered golfers will participate in a scramble style tournament. The tournament will conclude with a lunch and beverages. At lunch, we will provide an update on FYF along with photos and stories of our success! As these young individuals approach the crucial transition out of foster care, we equip them with vital knowledge about personal finance, including budgeting, banking, understanding debt and credit cards, and more. Additionally, our employment alliance offers invaluable support through resume writing assistance and mock interviews, aiming to secure job placements for them.
