A former Lawrence educator and esteemed friend of the shop, Michelle Jensen recently accomplished a self-supported expedition along the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route (GDMBR). Spanning the Continental Divide from the Canadian border to Mexico, this route predominantly consists of unpaved roads and trails, encompassing approximately 90% of the journey. Over the course of 29 days, Michelle covered an impressive distance of 1,863 miles along the GDMBR, relishing in unforgettable experiences and spontaneous detours before culminating her expedition in her hometown of Salida, CO.
Michelle will divulge the meticulous mental and physical preparations she undertook for her inaugural endurance event. She will share her cherished mantras, such as "mind your mind" and "if you change nothing, nothing will change."
