🍷Summer is the perfect time to explore new places and stories... so why not take it one step further and write one of your own? 🏰 This class will focus on developing drama and creating conflict within your narrative to make it as compelling as possible to read. ✍️ This is for anyone who loves creativity, a good story and is looking to create something of their own. Absolutely no prior experience is needed! 📚 The class is run by an experienced Literacy Specialist who will guide you through with lots of creative activities to get you warmed up. 📕 A notebook for you to keep is provided, along with stationery - but if you want to use anything of your own, you're more than welcome. 🎲 We'll start with a few games (silliness and creativity very much encouraged!) before putting pen to paper. 📓 By the end of the class, you'll have your own creative writing piece on paper to take home and be proud of. ✉️ We'll send out some writing prompts after the class too, to encourage you to keep up the creative work! 📝 This event also gives you exclusive access to our writing group, where we post weekly writing prompts and you can find a community of support.

N1SCO Racing!
We love the whole N1SCO racing scene. The atmosphere, the inclusivity and the fun racing for all standards of paddler. The only thing we don't like is that they're missing from the race calendar.
To that end, we're putting on our own N1SCO race, with the same format. That means a day on the water with; A technical race A 5km distance race Sprint heats (out and back with a single turn) Initial tickets will be for paddlers with their own N1SCO board. We're looking into sourcing boards to hire, so please bear with us. A rough itinerary for the event is as follows (subject to change!) 9am. Registration Closes 9:30 Paddler Briefing 10:00 Technical Race Start 11:30 Sprint Heats 12:30 Lunch 14:00 Distance Race 16:00 Sprint Finals 17:00 Prize giving Who can enter? Anyone! You dont need any racing experience at all to take part. The N1SCO boards are easy to paddle. Non-N1SCO boards We are also allowing non-N1SCO boards, with similar dimensions to allow for close, accessible racing. Board must be inflatable (iSUPS) under 12'8 long and over 28 wide. We probably wont police this religiously, but if you turn up on a 25 wide 14' raceboard, you may politely be asked to have a brick attached to your fin!
