Royal Opera House Trio
Katherine Baker, flute, Amelie Roussel, viola and Lucy Wakeford, harp, all principal players in the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House come to Fairlight Hall to play a programme featuring Debussy's trio written for this ensemble and an arrangment of Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet ballet.

Relax with a free glass of Pimm's as you enjoy a very special concert by
Curtis Phill Hsu,
winner of the Hastings International Piano Competition, and
Gabrielė Sutkutė
, who took part in the 2022 Competition and has since become a firm favourite in Hastings through her work for our Learning & Participation programme.
They have a treat in store: an intimate concert featuring music by Debussy, Rachmaninov and the Lithuanian composer Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis performed by Gabrielė in the first half, followed by Mussorgsky’s monumental
Pictures at an Exhibition
performed by Curtis after the interbal.
Feel free to bring a picnic to eat beforehand, or just roam the lovely gardens before joining us in the recital room where you will be seated cabaret-style.

- are all spectacular pianists in their own right. This afternoon’s concert offers a tantalising glimpse of each; all four will give a short but perfectly formed recital with music ranging from Rameau and Chopin, to Granados, Ravel and Debussy.
You are very welcome to picnic in the lovely gardens before the concert, or you can book a place for a delicious buffet lunch to be served on the terrace, which will include 2 courses, wine and coffee or tea, at £55 per head. To book for lunch, please complete the form
