Welcome, Market Supporters! This year, thanks to sponsorship from Rhein Haus Leavenworth and The Local Event Co, we are thrilled to invite you to our 10th annual Farm to Table experience hosted at Tierra Learning Center! Proceeds from this event will benefit our local farmers markets in Leavenworth and Cashmere , and any additional donations made during the event will support our Good Farmer Fund . Please note: this is a 21 and over event due to our alcohol permitting. This applies to all infants and children. The evening will begin with a glass of bubbles and hors d'oeuvres in the organic educational garden with Farmer Laura. After immersing yourself in the garden, you'll find a seat in the dining "room" to enjoy the 7-course experience we have planned for you, thanks to our generous volunteer chefs, complete with local wine or elixir pairings. All of the courses will feature produce from your favorite farms , each one introduced by the chef. As you dine, you'll enjoy live music and brief comments from the Market board and staff, honoring our two incredible markets and the farmers who make it possible. Of course, we'll also have a silent auction ! This year the auction will be entirely online to include more of our community in the bidding fun. It will start before the event, run throughout the evening, and feature gifts and experiences from local businesses . And finally, we'll try to portion it all just right so you can dance the night away ! Another way to join the fun is as a volunteer server! Servers must be 21or older and available from 4:00-9:30PM on August 22nd. Experience is not necessary, but a great attitude is. Email info@cascademarkets.org to volunteer. Leavenworth Spring Bird Fest is a 4-day event. Bird Fest Central is where most trips begin and is the source for all Bird Fest information from getting a checklist, finding out what birds have been seen on field trips to suggestions on where to find the best lunch, and even do some shopping. Exhibitor will showcase educational and recreational activities focusing on birds, wildlife, and their environments, the awareness of environmental and conservation issues surrounding the area's birds, while providing an economic and educational benefit to the community, a scientific quality of gathering important birding data and more. Bring the kids to the parking lot in front of Leavenworth Landing Park and see the many kinds of trucks working in and around our community. Kids will have a hands on opportunity to explore, crawl through and even honk the horn of the hard working big rigs of the City and surrounding communities. Stop in the gym at the Riverfront Community Center (south entrance) and check out the toys, trikes, balls and music. Putt with pops this Father's Day at the Mini Golf Classic at Icicle Village Resort in Leavenworth, WA! Bring the whole family for this fun-filled day with food, lawn games, and a healthy dose of competition! Score cards turned in before 6pm will be eligible for a prize. Riverfront Park Shelter Physical Address: 1201 Riverfront Park Road (before the gates of the campground) This park is located under the "big blue bridge" near the entrance to our campground. It has a medium sized shelter (25' x 25') and includes 7 picnic tables. Amenities Benches Boat Ramp Portable Restroom Facility Campground (open April - October) Resident fees are for City of Leavenworth or Fort Leavenworth only. Bring your lawn chairs, wine tumblers and dancing shoes! Tents or umbrellas are recommended as well for shade. Tickets required for all adults upon parking, please only buy tickets for those who you will be arriving with. 4 tickets max. Kids are free, the food truck will have corndogs availible for purchase for kids. BBQ food availible for adults. Seating is first come first serve.
