. As part of Italian Heritage Month this June—a time to honour the rich cultural contributions of Italians around the world.
AFC is pleased to present a special screening of the award-winning Canadian documentary, THE SOUTH.
Winner of the 2024 Canadian Ethnic Media Award for Best Documentary, 
THE SOUTH
 explores the healing power of music and dance in southern Italy; while offering a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the album of the same name by Italian-Canadian recording artist Andrea Ramolo and the Italian band Kalàscima.
Following the screening, audiences are invited to stay for a Q&A session with the filmmaker and members of the cast.
