This Spaghetti dinner fundraiser will help support the work of the core walkers who will walk the full length of the Grand River, September 21-27, 2025. We are raising funds for food, accommodations, gas and incidentals for the core walkers and ceremonial medicine for the week long ceremony. The dinner will have gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian options to meet varied needs and preferences.
Mary Anne Caibaoisai, Ojibway Anishinaabe kwe and lead for this walk, will offer some words about this year's (3rd year of a 4 year commitment) waterwalk ceremony for the Grand River and the water behind the dams. There will also be drumming and singing in celebration of Nibi and the upcoming walk. PLEASE BRING YOUR $ DONATION AND OFFER AT THE DOOR. G'CHI MIIGWECH!
