The Amazon has always sparked the imagination. As the source of numerous metaphors, its image often deviates from the reality of this vast territory, the largest tropical rainforest in the world.
Amazônia documents daily life in this region, which spans nine South American countries and is home to 188 indigenous groups, 114 of whom have had no contact with the outside world. This territory is threatened by pollution, mining, mass agriculture, and other industries.
Conceived by photographer Sebastião Salgado, through 230 black and white photographs, it establishes a dialogue between nature and humanity, reflecting the majesty of the forest, rivers, and mountains. Curated by Lélia Wanick Salgado, it offers a sensorial immersion, with large-format images, spaces evoking indigenous huts, and a musical work by Jean-Michel Jarre based on the sounds of the tropical rainforest.

The colourful, beautiful house is filled with the history of two of Mexico&#39;s finest artists: Frida Carlo and Diego Rivera. You can see many of the paintings and objects of these two artists and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere of their large courtyard. You pay extra to take photos and use audio tours in different languages, but it&rsquo;s worth it!

The Great Temple is located next to the central square and is a super convenient attraction. The original temple has been destroyed by Spanish colonists. The existing only towers and stone steps are still amazing.

The castle is an amazing place to remember some history from the time when Maximiliano de Hasburgo and his wife arrived to mexico to the actual moment. Also all the Mexican context and the nationalism that in primary we get as Mexican. is beautiful to remember. I saw that the Folklore Ballet of Amalia Hernandez have some performances there, I love that company. it&rsquo;s a pitty that next day I had to go from CDMX and we already have plan for that evening. if you have time get the tickets ☺️

In the bustling area of the city, the building is more atmospheric, there are parks and sightseeing bell towers around, and it is also very close to the Constitution Square. I only admired the beautiful scenery outside, and I don&#39;t know how to go in and visit.

The National Museum of Anthropology is absolutely not to be missed when you come to Mexico City! The collection is beyond imagination, from ancient Indian civilizations to the mysterious Aztec civilizations and Mayan civilizations. When I saw the ancient relics and exquisite relics, the shock of my heart was unspeakable. The layout of the whole venue was reasonable and it was very comfortable to stroll around. I went shopping for an entire afternoon and still had no intentions.
