Who for?
Our Balance Bike course (4 x 45min sessions) is designed specifically for children aged 2.5-4 years old who want to take their first step towards learning how to ride a bike.
Course description
The course introduces children to a balance bike and develops their basic movement patterns, dynamic balance and gross motor skills through a range of fun activities and games.
The aim of the course is to build the child's confidence to glide on a balance bike with their feet off the floor.
The course teaches riders how to:
Mount & dismount the bike
Manoeuvre the bike
Control the bike
Stop the bike
The course will be held on the following 4 dates with 45 minute sessions (9.30-10.15am) each week. Riders are required to attend all four sessions.
Saturday 7th June
Saturday 14th June
Saturday 21st June
Saturday 28th June
All sessions are held outdoors on the school playground.
