Join the Basket Weaving Workshop at The Hub6163 in Hamilton Hill. This workshop offers a unique opportunity to create your own basket using natural processed materials such as twine, raffia, and yarns. Whether you have previous experience or not, this class is suitable for everyone as all materials are included. Throughout the class, you will learn a range of weaving and basketry skills that can be applied to future projects. To add a touch of Indian influence to your design, experiment with incorporating Sari silk ribbon. The workshop combines traditional and contemporary weaving basketry techniques, allowing you to customize your basket and make it truly unique and functional. Please note that a materials kit will be provided for each ticket sold, ensuring that you have everything you need to create your basket. The workshop is suitable for ages 12+ and adults of all ages. Children aged 12+ are welcome to attend with a paying adult. To ensure the success of the workshop, a minimum number of tickets must be sold. Therefore, refunds, including for non-attendance, cannot be offered. However, if you are unable to attend, you are welcome to pass your ticket on to someone else.
