How do you balance a visual experience, which most things in life are? You gather people and create a true black box, no lights, no visuals. For the performers, "sounding your best" is emphasized and removing the visual element of crowd reaction is scary. For the sighted and low vision audience, sitting in dark discomfort and feeding the performers only through audible energy may be new. For the legally blind and totally blind audience, this is our life. Come grow in awareness and compassion as we serve disability advocacy through a night of Afro fusion, spoken word, and R&B.
