Join artist and author Janice Mason Steeves as she presents her book "Bloom: On Becoming an Artist Later in Life" at the Canadian Clay and Glass Gallery in Waterloo. Now, with the freedom and stability that retirement brings, they are rediscovering their creative passions. Seeking meaning and personal growth, they are exploring the world of art. Steeves, a painter with 40 years of experience, understands the challenges and joys of this artistic journey. Through her own exploration of abstract art, she has gained valuable insights that she shares with her students, predominantly women from the baby boomer generation. Inspired by her own dream, Steeves wrote "Bloom: On Becoming an Artist Later in Life" to inspire and support others on their artistic path.
